Abstract
One key challenge in water supply systems is the aging of groundwater wells, due to clogging and corrosion, driven by complex site conditions which require a multidisciplinary approach. This paper focuses on determining the content of iron in lithostratigraphic units, and its distribution along the lithological profile, particularly in aquifer, as a potential source of iron and the causative agent for the clogging on the well screen. This paper also indicates on the activities on the definition of mechanism of transport of iron from primary lithological medium and the processes by which iron minerals are deposited onto the filter structure.
Sažetak
Veliki problem vodosnabdevanja jeste proces starenja vodozahvatnih objekata, kao posledica kolmiranja i korozije, koji se dešava usled velikog broja faktora na terenu. Širok spektar faktora i ozbiljan problem zahtevaju multidisciplinaran pristup u istraživanju. Ovaj rad obuhvata utvrđivanje sadržaja gvožđa u izdvojenim litostratigrafskim jedinicama kao i distribuciju sadržaja gvožđa po litološkom stubu, naročito u delu izdani, kao potencijalnog izvora gvožđa i uzročnika stvaranja kolmatacija na filtru bunara, i predlog mogućih daljih aktivnosti na definisanju mehanizma transporta gvožđa iz primarne litološke sredine, kao i mehanizma deponovanja minerala gvožđa na filterškoj konstrukciji.
