Abstract
This paper examines the application of Industry 4.0 technologies in decentralized clinical research, with particular focus on contribution to the efficient management of logistics activities. A set of contemporary technologies is presented, along with the criteria relevant for their evaluation. The methodological framework is based on the application of the SWARA (Step-wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis) and COBRA (COmprehensive Distance Based RAnking) methods for determining criterion weights and ranking alternatives. The analysis enables a systematic comparison of technologies and provides insight into their operational value in modern clinical trials.
