Abstract
(not available in English)
Due to the significant negative impact of mining industry on the environment, it is necessary to apply the principles of sustainable business in this sector. The application of these principles requires the introduction of clean, i.e. green technologies, which are the product of green innovations. All innovations, including the green innovations, are the result of knowledge management processes. This paper presents the causal relationship between the knowledge management, green innovation and sustainable operations of the mining industry. The results of research have confirmed the positive direct and indirect relationships between the mentioned constructs.
