Challenges for the application of artificial intelligence and ethical issues
Izazovi za primenu veštačke inteligencije i etička pitanja
Abstract
The concepts of artificial intelligence were established in the middle of the 20th century, but they began to be significantly applied in recent times when the progress of technology made it possible. Like all new technologies, artificial intelligence has created many possibilities that are oriented towards making our daily activities easier. However, it has been observed that the possibilities for misuse of these technologies are very high and this raises many questions related to the legislative and ethical aspects of their application. This paper summarizes the challenges and ethical issues related to the application of artificial intelligence, and special attention is paid to the segment of gender equality.
Sažetak
Koncepti veštačke inteligencije uspostavljeni su još polovinom XX veka, ali su počeli značajno da se primenjuju u novije vreme kada je napredak tehnologija to omogućio. Kao i sve nove tehnologije, i veštačka inteligencija stvorila je mnoge mogućnosti koje su orijentisane ka tome da nam olakšaju svakodnevne aktivnosti. Međutim, uočeno je da su mogućnosti za zloupotrebu ovih tehnologija veoma velike i to otvara mnogo pitanja koja se odnose na zakonodavne i etičke aspekte njihove primene. U ovom radu sumirani su izazovi i etička pitanja vezana za primenu veštačke inteligencije, a posebna pažnja je posvećena segmentu rodne ravnopravnosti.
