Abstract
The dispersiveness of immovable cultural assets in Serbia, as a testimony of the long settlement of the areas where Serbia and its neighbors are located, represents an advantage for development. This is signifi cant considering that immovable cultural assets represent the backbone of urban area development and that their size in the global context is increasingly important. The paper uses a case study of archaeological sites and other immovable cultural assets along Corridor X and the area divided by the state border inhabited by the Torlacians.
