A brief overview of the basics of an efficient water system

Abstract
Gubici vode su jedan od ključnih pokazatelja efikasnosti svakog vodovodnog sistema. Rad opisuje kako se sistemsko razmišljanje može koristiti za kreiranje sistema upravljanja efikasnošću. Pri tome, ključne komponente organizacije su: (i) kultura, (ii) struktura, i (iii) informacije. Rad je pokušaj prenošenja iskustva iz visoko-opasne industrije u oblast snabdevanja vodom.
Sažetak
Water losses are one of the key indicators of the efficiency of any water supply system. The paper describes how systems thinking can be used to create an efficiency management system. In doing so, the key components of the organization are: (i) culture, (ii) structure, and (iii) information. The paper is an attempt to transfer experience from a high-hazard industry to the field of water supply.
