Sažetak
Kontekst: savremeni grad i privatizacija prostora koja se dešava kao posledica ekonomskog interesa dominantnih društvenih grupa koje u kapitalističkom sistemu tretiraju prostor kao izvor kapitala. Smanjenje javnog prostora ili njegova transformacija u komercijalne prostore dovodi do stvaranja novih javnih prostora koji su u privatnom vlasništvu i kontrolisanog režima korišćenja, koji u savremenom gradu preuzimaju ulogu društvenih čvorišta. Fokus: usled potrebe za novim prostorom stalno rastućih objekata potrošnje, virtuelni prostor kao produžetak realnog prostora omogućava odvijanje određenih funkcija bez trošenja fizičkog prostora, ali takođe utiče na poimanje društvenosti kako preuzima ulogu ostvarivanja društvene interakcije koja se istorijski vezuje uz gradski trg i ulice kao i uz odvijanje funkcije trgovine. Rad promišlja novi društveni prostor, kao i promene u fizičkom prostoru koje se dešavaju u savremenim društvenim okolnostima ubrzanog razvoja tehnologije.
Abstract
Context: the modern city and the privatization of space that occurs as a consequence of the economic interest of dominant social groups that treat space as a source of capital in the capitalist system. The reduction of public space or its transformation into commercial spaces leads to the creation of new public spaces that are privately owned and with a controlled use regime, with the intention of taking over the role of social spaces. Focus: due to the need for new space because of constantly growing objects of consumption, virtual space as an extension of real space allows performing functions without exhausting physical space, but it also affects our understanding of sociality as it takes on the role of providing social interaction that is historically associated with the city square and streets as well as with the trade function. This paper is about the new social space, as well as the changes in physical space that occur in contemporary social circumstances of rapid technological development.
