Sažetak
Kreiranje 3D modela danas ima široku primenu u različitim delatnostima i naučnim oblastima. Korišćenje ovakvih modela našlo je svoje mesto u arhitekturi, prostornom planiranju, građevini, zaštiti životne sredine i mnogim drugim sferama gde su potrebne precizne informacije o prostoru. Od velikog su značaja za planiranje prostora i predviđanje razvoja procesa u prostoru koji mogu značajno da doprinesu kvalitetu života čoveka. 3D modelu moguće je dodati i četvrtu komponentu (vreme) da bismo mogli da vidimo kako bi se, ili kako se neki proces odvijao tokom određenog vremenskog perioda. Ovakav pristup treba da pokaže kako nam informacione tehnologije mogu pomoći u odgovornom planiranju, čak i u slučaju vanrednih situacija. U radu će biti prikazan praktičan primer 3D okruženja sa akcentom na upotrebu u prostornom planiranju pomoću softvera otvorenog koda Unreal Engine.
Abstract
Today, the creation of 3D models is widely used in various activities and scientific fields. The use of such models has found its place in architecture, spatial planning, civil engineering, environmental protection and many other areas where accurate information about space is needed. They are of great importance for spatial planning and predicting the development of processes in space that can contribute significantly to the quality of human life. It is possible to add a fourth component (time) to the 3D model so that we can see how a process would or could develop during a certain period of time. This approach is intended to show how information technologies can help us in responsible planning as well as in emergency situations. The article presents a practical example of a 3D environment with a focus on its use in spatial planning using the open source software Unreal Engine.
