Improving the operation of some w&s systems and the price of water
Abstract
Unapređenje rada komunalnih (vodovodnih i kanalizacionih) sistema podrazumeva racionalnije poslovanje, povećana briga o ovim sistemima, i njihov potrebni razvoj. Ostvarenje ovih ciljeva zahteva adekvatnu finansijsku podršku i često bolju (efikasniju) organizaciju komunalnih firmi. U radu se pokušava dati, kroz primere različitih sistema, kakvi sve problemi postoje, koliko pojedina unapređenja/investicije utiču na formiranje (ekonomske) cene vode, i koje su specifičnosti pojedinih regiona Srbije. U manjoj meri se razmatra i šta se može očekivati u bližoj budućnosti u svetlu svih promena koje se dešavaju, i u slučaju nepreduzimanja (slabog preduzimanja) potrebnih aktivnosti.
Sažetak
Improving the operation of communal (water supply and sewage) systems implies more rational operations, increased care for these systems, and their necessary development. Achieving these goals requires adequate financial support and often a better (more efficient) organization of utility companies. The paper tries to give, through examples of different systems, what problems exist, how much certain improvements/investments affect the formation of the (economic) price of water, and what are the specificities of certain regions of Serbia. To a lesser extent, what can be expected in the near future is considered in light of all the changes that are happening, and in the case of not undertaking (weakly undertaking) the necessary activities.
